Find the same – beauty ideals and flawlessness on the streets of Berlin

Killing Us Softly 4 Trailer from Media Education Foundation on Vimeo.

In her documentary, Killing Us Softly 4, Jean Kilbourne says, referring to the ideal of absolutely flawless beauty with which we are continually fed by ads:

“She never has any lines or wrinkles, she certainly does not have any scars or blemishes, indeed, she has no pores”.

This series could easily be called “find the same“, if you know what I mean.

Pores? What pores?

She is not as famous as those models, but she is a public person… and I agree, she does look better without any photoshop…

Why starving and killing ourself when there are people that have no choice?!

Fashion houses and people in advertising think “women” are attractive for both women and man public… until this is working, there is no chance they change their strategy…

When I look an ADV from H&M I wonder if those models eat just for Christmas and 14th July…
