A silver moon and its porcelain orbit - two earrings in one

A planet and its orbit. A wonderful reminder we are all orbiting our star.

These are special earrings and I love them so much. You can wear them two ways: either you wear only the simple small sterling silver faceted moon, or you wear it together with its porcelain orbit. 

They are made entirely by hand: at my silversmith bench, I create the simple moon earring posts and in my studio I hand form the porcelain orbits. They are light and easy to wear. A statement piece. The orbits are glazed transparent and are glazed on both sides. 

These are made to order so please allow for up to 14 days production time. 

The porcelain part of the earring measures 2,5cm in diameter. The small silver moon measures around 0,4cm in diameter. 

Porcelain is a very strong material but you should treat your pieces with care and make sure not to drop them or have them hit a hard surface. I also recommend not to shower with your jewellery.
