Anaxandra - porcelain ring dish
Regular price€39,00 Sale pricePickup currently unavailable
Anaxandra was an Ancient Greek painter. She painted with her father, Nealkes (who saved important pieces of art from destruction in 251BC) and concentrated on mythological icons and figures.
A crater on Venus of 20km in diameter was named after her (see last photo for the actual image of this crater).
This porcelain ring dish is around 8cm in diameter. It was formed entirely by hand and glazed with my matte white and lava glaze, both of which I formulated and created.
