Dickinson - small hand-carved porcelain ring dish
Regular price€39,00 Sale pricePickup currently unavailable
Emily Dickinson, my favourite poet. Born in Massachusetts in 1886, Emily never married and didn't love people, but she wrote. And her writing is a treasure. Unfortunately, most of her poems were published after her death. Everyone should own a copy of her collected works.
A crater on Venus of 67km in diameter was named after her (see last photo for the actual image of this crater).
This porcelain ring dish is around 9cm in diameter. It is not a perfectly round shape. It was formed entirely by hand, carefully decorated with texture that reminds of a flower or a crater and then glazed with a transparent glaze.
