Suttungr - Vase XXIII
Regular price€200,00 Sale pricePickup currently unavailable

Suttungr is part of the Norse moons around Saturn. They are irregular objects that were probably captured by Saturn's orbit. It was named for Suttungr a giant in Norse mythology.
This small vase is the twenty-third vase in the series 274 moons / 274 vases. Suttungr was made entirely by hand with a groggy red stoneware clay, glazed with my matte white glaze.
Suttungr is not perfectly round.
The vase was coiled by hand and fired up to 1240C.
The vase is functional and measures 9 cm in height and around 8,5 cm in diameter at its middle (largest) point.
All the glazes are formulated and made by me.
Certificate of authenticity will be provided.
